Today, our children enjoyed a lovely walk to the local shop as part of this half term’s citizenship learning. Using their own shopping lists, they confidently chose their ingredients and paid with cash — real-life maths skills in action!

Back at school, everyone rolled up their sleeves to make delicious flapjacks to take home and share with their families.

This hands-on experience helped the children explore practical ways to help others, and we hope it inspires them to lend a hand at home — whether it’s with the shopping or whipping up tasty treats!
